Abstract

Many experimentations were made to prove the usage of admixtures or replacing materials in the conventional concrete to redefine its strength and performance. Concentrations were given less to demonstrate the methodology to be adopted in arriving the mix ratio. This study shows the importance of volume and weight replacement based on the density of the materials used for replace-ment. Compressive strength evaluation is made and from the test results it is found that for lighter denser materials volume replace-ment will be an effective solution.
