New PP website provides a comprehensive look at alleged PSOE crimes

The Popular Party (PP) has launched a digital campaign featuring an interactive website designed to highlight alleged cases of corruption linked to the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE). According to the party led by Alberto Núñez Feijóo, the numerous judicial scandals, either directly or indirectly involving the PSOE, justify the creation of this informational tool. The website, called “La trama PSOE” (“The PSOE Plot”), aims to visually and comprehensively outline all judicial controversies associated with the party.

The campaign appeared on social media with a message underscoring the scale of the allegations: “There is so much corruption in the PSOE that it’s sometimes hard to follow. To make sure you don’t miss anything, visit here.” At the same time, a video was launched outlining the principal judicial inquiries involving Socialist leaders, among them figures such as José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, associated with the Plus Ultra case, as well as individuals linked to the current president, Pedro Sánchez.

Narrated in a somber tone, the video asserts that “this isn’t about an isolated headline but about understanding the bigger picture,” and enumerates: “15 cases, 90 indicted individuals, 19 different crimes, and up to 1,817 years of accumulated prison sentences.” It also references key PSOE figures such as José Luis Ábalos and Santos Cerdán, while mentioning familial ties of the president himself, suggesting that “Sánchez’s inner circle” is a central part of the problem.

This website’s launch occurs amid deep political polarization, where judicial proceedings are increasingly used as instruments of confrontation between major political parties, and the PP’s move has ignited considerable debate and prompted thousands of social media reactions, further fueling the political discussion.
